Alpacka Raft Hybrid Bow Bag

Alpacka Raft Hybrid Bow Bag
Alpacka Raft Hybrid Bow Bag
Keep mission-critical items close and dry-bag protected. The Hybrid Bow Bag gives you fast, on-deck access to snacks, layers, tools, and electronics while keeping a low profile that won’t clip your paddle stroke. The outer shell sheds spray; for full waterproofing, place 5L drybags (e.g., Ortlieb 5L Drybag) inside the main compartment.
Quick-Access Storage: Keep essentials at your fingertips on the deck.
Low-Profile Design: Preserves paddle clearance and line of site over the bow.
Secure Attachment: Multi-point adjustable straps connect to packrafts bow tie-downs/grab loops.
Water-Resistant Shell: Sheds splash and spray; use inner drybags for waterproofing.
Drybag Compatible:5L drybags work best for organized protection.
Streamlined Shape: Reduces snagging during portages and re-entries.

Waterproofing recommendation: Pack Raft Australia recommends placing critical items (electronics, cameras, keys, lunch etc.) inside a quality roll-top drybag (5L) for full water/submersion protection. This leaves additional space in the zippered compartment for inflation bag/Pack-A-Pump etc, separating wet from dry. We do not recommend the Alpacka Raft Hybrid Bow Bag Liner, due to the current “waterproof” zip, which we’ve found unreliable for true waterproofing.
