Professional repairs, upgrades and servicing from our dedicated packraft workshop in Central Victoria.

Pack Raft Australia has been repairing, modifying and upgrading packrafts since 2014. Our workshop in Harcourt, Central Victoria handles everything from basic tube patches and valve replacements through to TiZip retrofits, self-bailer conversions and full custom upgrades. We work primarily on Alpacka Raft packrafts but can generally assist with most other brands too. If you're not sure what's wrong, that's fine. If you purchased directly from Alpacka Raft, you will need a Return Authorisation Number (RA#) from Alpacka Raft before sending your packraft to us. Request one via their warranty contact form here

Pricing Guide:

Tube and hull patch repair From $165 Includes first 3 patches. Additional patching charged at $16.50 per patch.
Valve Upgrade (Temper Assist Valve – TAV) $245 Valve install + mouth nozzle patch. Pressure testing completed after install. If additional tube patching is required, this is charged at the per patch rate.
TiZip Cargo Zipper retrofit or replacement $365 Basic TiZip retrofit or replacement. Complex installs may attract additional charges.
Express Service surcharge $175 In addition to repair costs. Subject to availability.
Preparation and cleaning fee $35 Applied if packraft arrives requiring cleaning. Send clean and dry to avoid this fee.
Return delivery $40–55 Return postage cost to send your packraft back to you after completion. Inbound postage to our workshop is at your own cost. All packrafts are returned signature on delivery. Exact cost confirmed at invoice stage depending on your location.

All pricing is in AUD and inclusive of GST. Pricing is indicative. All work is individually assessed and quoted for your approval before we commence. More complex repairs and custom upgrades are quoted individually.

The Process: Submit. Estimate. Post. Repair. Return.

1. Submit your request. Fill out the service request form on this page. Include as much detail as you can about what needs attention. If you're not sure, just describe what you've noticed and we'll take it from there.

2. We'll get back to you within 2-3 business days with an initial estimate based on the information provided, instructions for preparing and posting your packraft, and any follow-up questions if we need more detail or photos to assess the job.

3. Post your packraft to us. Please ensure it arrives clean and dry, with any temporary tape or sealant removed from areas requiring repair.

4. We assess and confirm. Once your packraft arrives, we complete a full assessment and provide a confirmed cost summary for your approval before starting any work.

5. We complete the repairs. Standard turnaround is approximately 3-4 weeks from receipt. Express turnaround (1-2 weeks) is available for an additional $175, subject to availability and parts.

6. We invoice and return. Once work is complete, we'll send your final invoice. Payment is required before dispatch. Your packraft ships back to you with return delivery costs confirmed at invoice stage.

Please note: Our workshop operates on a post-in basis only. We don't offer in-person drop-offs or walk-in assessments. All repairs are handled through the postal process above, which allows us to manage workflow and turnaround times properly for every customer.

Winter is a great time to send your packraft in. If your boat needs attention after a big season, getting it sorted over the cooler months means it's ready to go when the rivers come back into condition in spring.
