Alpacka’s sizing is based on a preferred fit — a medium knee bend with your feet on the foot brace. At first this may feel less secure than a deep bend, but once you get used to it, it balances comfort and performance. Still, fit is personal, and you can go tighter or more relaxed based on preference.

Consider sizing up if you have long legs or broader hips for your height, or if you want a bit more comfort and storage space. A larger size often feels more relaxed on longer trips.

Choose a smaller size if you prefer a tighter, performance fit. A deeper knee bend can improve thigh-strap engagement and boat control in whitewater. Sizing down can also help if you have shorter legs relative to your height.
