Alpacka Raft's custom foam backband is a perfect upgrade for improving back support and comfort regardless of whether you are a flat water or whitewater paddler.

These backbands are compatible with all packrafts that have D-Rings installed in the hip area and a ladder attachment on the rear.

The backband has a detachable clip with metal toggle style connection, designed for fitment to a ladder style attachment on your packraft. In addition, there is a metal D-Ring on the rear of the backband, and can be fitted with an elastic cord with two toggles (not supplied) for fitting to older style packrafts with this style of rear connection.

Alternatively, if retrofitting, you can install a single DIY Strap plate for boats with a centre rear panel (i.e. not a seam directly behind the seat) to fit the detachable toggle clip.

If DIY retrofit installing, use 2 x Double D-Rings and 1 or two x Strap plate for the rear of the raft depending on the raft tube panel layout.
